Theme - Maya Mysteries
Homeschool students can explore the museum exhibits with a sweet scavenger hunt, then participate in a Chocolate Lab class where they’ll make a chocolate bar and learn how the Maya prepared and consumed their cacao nibs. Plus, youngsters can explore other Mayan activities and write their names using hieroglyphs. All guests, including adults, require a ticket. Children 2 years and under are free. This program is recommended for ages 4 and up.
The program lasts approximately 1½ hours. Participants are encouraged to arrive between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM to ensure they receive a timed Chocolate Lab ticket.
