Sparks will perform locally for Milton Hershey School's Centennial Founders Week concert on November 12, at 7:00 p.m., at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Special guests for the evening are the Wonder Girls. This event is a private function for Milton Hershey School students, staff and alumni, however, 100 members of the general public will each win two (2) tickets. A total of 200 tickets will be awarded.
The concert is being held to celebrate Founders Day, the day in 1909 when Milton and Catherine Hershey signed the Deed of Trust, establishing the School. Milton Hershey School®, located in Hershey, is a cost-free, private, coeducational home and school for children from families of low income, limited resources, and social need. It is the largest School of its kind, and it is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding in 2009-10 with a series of special events, including the Founders Week Concert.
Jordin Sparks has been at the top of the charts this summer with her new record, Battlefield. Jordin was also part of one of the year's best selling tours as she shared the stage with the Jonas Brothers during the North American leg of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009. Sparks just joined another top performing tour as a special guest on the wildly popular The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour 2009.
