Fall Homeschool Day at Hershey Gardens is all about trees. Homeschoolers will learn about one of nature's most beautiful specimens. Please note, families should arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. to ensure sufficient time for all activities.
Pre-registration and ticket purchase is required by noon on Monday, September 16. Program will be held rain or shine.

Learning Stations - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Engage in a variety of activities, including games and a craft table. Suitable for all grades.
Arboretum Scavenger Hunt - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Explore the Arboretum with a kid-friendly scavenger hunt. Suitable for all grades.
How Old Am I? - 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Estimate the age of trees using your math skills. Cutting not necessary! Suitable for upper elementary and middle school grades.
Tree Identification Presentation - 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Learn some basic approaches to identifying trees with Horticulturalist Specialist Alyssa Hagarman. Suitable for all ages.
Whooooo Are the Owls? By ZooAmerica - 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Learn about owls and their interesting adaptations. Suitable for all ages.
