HERSHEY'S Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Oatmeal With Bananas, Pecans and Orange Blossom Honey

Ingredients:
3 cups water
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup + 2 tablespoons instant oats
1 tablespoon HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder
2 ounces brown sugar
1 teaspoon butter, softened
1 banana, fresh, cut in half lengthwise then quartered and diced
4 teaspoons pecans, chopped
4 teaspoons HERSHEY'S Chocolate Chips
2 teaspoons orange blossom honey

Instructions:

  • Bring water and salt to boil over high heat. 
  • Add oats and mix well. Bring to boil; reduce to simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add cocoa and brown sugar. Mix well and bring to boil; reduce to simmer and cook for 5 more minutes. 
  • Add butter. Mix well to fully incorporate.

  • Remove from heat and evenly portion into warm bowls. 
  • Garnish each bowl with ¼ chopped fresh banana, 1 teaspoon chopped pecans, 1 teaspoon chocolate chips and ½ teaspoon honey.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.

Chef's Note:

  • You can substitute any fresh fruit desired for the banana, or any favorite nut for the pecans.
