HERSHEY'S Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup butter-flavored shortening
1 ¼ cup brown sugar
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 whole eggs
2 ¼ cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups HERSHEY'S Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  • Cream together shortening, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl. 
  • Beat eggs in separate bowl and add to mixture. 
  • Mix together flour, baking soda and salt in separate bowl and gradually add to wet mixture.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop batter by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 8 minutes at 325 degrees or until barely brown.

Yield: 7 to 8 dozen cookies
