The African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Pennsylvania
is a service oriented organization. We are "Building Bridges
to Economic Success" by providing access to and opportunity
for African American business owners and professionals.

Pennsylvania CareerLink is a cooperative effort to provide one-stop
delivery of career services to job seekers, employers and other
Interested Individuals. These services are also available in your
local Pennsylvania CareerLink office or participating agency.
Junior
Achievement of Central PA
Junior Achievement of Central Pennsylvania was started in 1955,
with just one after-school program in Lancaster County. Today it
serves students in Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Snyder,
Union, Northumberland, Juniata and Mifflin counties. Our purpose
is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise,
business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives.
Volunteers from the business world and community-at-large come
into the classroom to teach the JA curriculum, providing real-life
experience with the lessons.
Harrisburg
Regional Chamber
Founded in 1912, The Harrisburg Regional Chamber represents 1,660
businesses in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties. The Chamber
also leads the economic development efforts in the tri-county region
through its Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC).
The Chamber employs 24 staff professionals to carry out its work
and engages volunteer leaders at all levels of the organization
to foster the organization's mission to be the catalyst for promoting
vitality and quality of life in our region of central
Pennsylvania.
Business
Leadership Network
The business community needs qualified workers to fill its changing
job requirements. The Pennsylvania Business Leadership Network
assists employers by exploring methods to more effectively recruit,
market and hire the talents of job applicants with disabilities.
Business Leadership Networks have been developed across the country
as part of an initiative started by the Office of Disability Employment
Policy (ODEP).

Way 
United Way of
the Capital Region (UWCR) works year-round to
change lives in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties. We do this
by identifying long-term and pressing community needs, finding
solutions to address those needs and providing results that show
how we are making a difference.

The vision of Goodwill Industries Keystone
Area continues to be empowering those we serve to reach their fullest
potential as workers and as members of the broader community. We
assist individuals in ov ercoming employment barriers, including
welfare dependency, illiteracy, homelessness and disabilities,
and introduce them to the power of earning a paycheck.
